Advancement timeframe will depend on industry and life experience. Training opportunities are available in inside sales, outside sales, project management, quotations, purchasing, operations and/or supervisory functions (depending on interests and abilities.)

REPORTS TO: Profit Center Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability and desire to develop meaningful relationships with customers and coworkers
• Fast, hardworking, driven, and motivated
• High intelligence with the ability to learn quickly
• High School Diploma, or equal
• Minimum of 18 Years Old
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable record
• Read, write, and understand English
• Perform basic math functions in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Understand typical American Standard units of weights & measurements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Industry Experience preferred
• Ability to understand basic sales skills
• Ability to communicate proficiently with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face
• Familiar with desktop applications such as Excel, Word, E-mail, and internet
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must pass a back-ground check

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle material and associated paperwork from receiving to delivery. Perform all required duties to serve customers and support team goals.

• Interact with customers over the phone and in person in a friendly and professional manner
• Sort and identify a wide variety of products and part numbers
• Locate and re-stock product in assigned locations
• Handle paperwork in a detailed manner consistent with CED policy
• Fulfill sales orders accurately and quickly to meet time commitments
• Record and File documentation physically and on a computer
• The ability to provide excellent customer service
• Complete assigned work within the allotted time
• Effective communication with Local Team and customers
• Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively multi-task daily
• Ability to work with a team successfully
• Ability to make bids on jobs by pursuing prices from vendors
• Ability to prepare and present bids to contractors
• Ability to close deals
